H.C. Andersen centret

Ib Melchior: The master story-teller Hans Christian Andersen was one of Denmarks' greatest sons, and is one of my personal heroes. In his special, gentle way he reached children and adults the world over. Since imitation is supposted to be the sincereset formof flattery and admiration, I have written this little fairy tale for the children of my niece, Annemarke, and Douglas, and for "Bien"s other young readers as a special tribute to Christmas and to HCA.
