H.C. Andersen centret

It has been decided to honor the memory of Hans Christian Andersen, known to children throughout the world for his fairy tales, by issuing a series of stamps to commemorate the one hundreth anniversary of the publishing of his first stories. New York Sun, 30 March 1935.
