Dear Mr. Andersen,

I have twice written to you, once to Mr. Reitzel, and once to our friend Fru Jerichau, to ask if you have published any more tales since the volumes which appeared in 1868, and which contains "Gjemt er ikke glemt", "Portnerens Søn", "Flyttedagen", etc. etc.

I translated this volume and offered it to Mr. Bentley, and to 3 other Publishers. They all say the tales make too small a volume for publication. One Publisher has begged me to try and procure a few more tales - or Eventyr from you to make the volume a little larger, in which case he will be glad to bring it out.

He is waiting for my answer, and I am writing to get an answer from Copenhagen.

Will you then have the kindness to write me a line to let me know if you have written and printed any more Eventyr og Historier, and if so - will you do me the great favor to send them over to me, if possible, without delay?

We all join in kind remembrances to you, and I am, dear Mr. Andersen,

Yours very sincerely,

A. S. Bushby.
