From 5th grade in the Rudolf Steiner School in Odense we have had 27 paintings made by the pupils for Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale ”The Snow Queen”. The pupils have worked with the fairy tale during the school year 2002-2003, and class teacher Ellen Thuesen has met our request to have the paintings reproduced on the HCA-Center website in spring 2003.
The paintings have no titles, so it’s up to the visitors to this site to guess the motives. School classes working with “The Snow Queen” can profitably read the fairy tale and then try to place each painting in the text.
