21 Beaufoy Terrace, Edgeware Road. 11 July [1847].

My dear Sir,

I have read the enclosed from Dickens who, you will see, is out of town: I have written to him to say that I will learn how long you remain with us and if till after the 28th we can, I trust, have more than one pleasant Meeting. But if not, we must contrive, at least an interview on Sunday next, if possible.

My own engagements are almost as overwhelming as your own; but I will hope to see you before I call at 7 o'c. on Friday to go to dinner at Lady Blessingtons. Meantime I shd be glad of a note as to your intended stay in London.

Yrs. always,

W. Jerdan
